WHY CHOOSE DIHR?
DIHR provide 4 quality checks to each individual machine before they are allowed to leave the factory. Firstly, before a machine has been assembled, every component is checked and passed to WRAS standards to ensure it complies with the strict regulations. The machine, once built, is then put through a complete wash cycle before moving on to the next stage. In order for the machine to receive it’s CE certification a parametric computer test is performed. If at this point a machine fails the test, it is not issued with it’s own serial number and will never leave the building. In order to maintain excellent service and product reliability each machine, owing to its serial number, is 100% traceable. The final test the machine has to pass before it can be released is the Dielectric Resistance
Control which ensures that the machine is electrically safe for use and conforms to legislation.

The machines themselves are formed from the finest AISI 304 stainless steel. This type of steel has been chosen for its resistance to corrosion caused by some detergents.
The machines are also designed in order to have the lowest possible electrical consumption whilst still maintaining a fast response of heating elements during the stand-by phase.
DIHR can boast the largest product range on the European market and are constantly looking for further product development.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT MACHINE
When researching for the machine of your choice, the selected machine must be able to perform to the hygienic standards (DIN10510) that are required by law. Once this is assured, the competitive solution of price can be sought.

WASH
The DIN 10510 European standard states that you should have at least 120 seconds of contact time of 55ºC-65ºC water and detergent with the dishes during the wash part of the cycle. Obviously, the longer the cycle, the hygienically cleaner your dishes will be. As you can see from the chart opposite, the DIHR two minute cycle ensures the correct contact time when dealing with normal dishes. For a more heavy duty wash, a longer contact time is required.

RINSE
It is most important that you choose a machine that has the power to keep up with the demands of your washing requirements. In heavy duty use the machine must have boiler elements suitable for recovery of the boiler’s water back to 85-90ºC for wash after wash. It is at this emperature that bacteria is killed and the items washed should be exposed to this temperature for approximately 10 seconds. Also drops in rinse temperature will create poor rinse quality and foaming in the wash tank.

THERMOSTOP
Rinse temperature guaranteed control. The DIHR Thermostop system ensures that the rinse cycle will only begin when the correct temperature is reached, eliminating poor rinse quality and ensuring the most hygienic and complete wash results. This system is most desirable in high risk areas such as residential homes and hospitals.

DOUBLE SKIN
All DIHR glass and dishwashers (with exception to the PGS range) are manufactured with a double wall body, ensuring energy efficiency as well as keeping noise levels to a minimum. All models, including the PGS range, have double skinned doors for strength and reduction of noise levels.

ELECTRON RANGE
Advanced technology is provided in these machines where the automated system controls clean water for every wash cycle (500clean model only). Wash water is dispersed after the wash cycle and replenished with incoming rinse water which
assures wash tank temperature accuracy. These machines incorporate the highly successful DIHR Thermostop system providing a high degree of certainty in temperature controls.
